Your second capstone

The first capstone drew on lessons 2 through 8: motions, selections, registers and the editing commands. This one adds lessons 9 through 11 — search, match mode and multiple cursors — and hands you the kind of job they are for: the same small fix, over and over, down a whole file.

The rules are the ones you know. Nothing here names a key. If you get stuck, the lesson to look back at is named instead, and the course map (Ctrl+K or ⌘K) takes you there and back. Any sequence of commands that produces the target text earns the tick, and there are always at least two good ones — usually a one-cursor-per-match route and a search-and-repeat route, and the plain lesson 4 route still works too.

The editor is showing the file you’ll clean up on the next step, already in order: one table, one server per line. Read it once, then move on. On the next step the same file comes back with the mess put in.
