Across files

This checklist is missing two items. They were jotted down in notes.txt, which sits alongside exercise.txt in this session, and they need to come across. Make exercise.txt match the target shown under the editor, exactly — same lines, same order — and finish with exercise.txt on screen.

What’s wrong, top to bottom:

• the title says release 2.3 and should say 2.4
• the two items notes.txt says belong in the checklist go at the end of the Before tagging list, in the same order
• the TODO line that marks their place has to go
• after tagging: has lost its capital

Once the items are across, take them out of notes.txt too so the note doesn’t say something the checklist already does. That last part is on your honour: only exercise.txt is checked.

If a step has you stuck, lesson 12 covers opening a second file, moving between buffers, and why a changed buffer must be saved before it closes; lesson 13 covers splits and the window menu, and lesson 14 the file and buffer pickers. Lesson 6 moves text through registers, and lesson 8 changes case and adjusts numbers. Undo is always there if a change goes wrong.
